OpenScholar allows for pages to be unpublished (not viewable to site visitors other than Site Administrators). You can unpublish pages you are working on and publish when they are ready.
To unpublish a page:
1. Click the large gear to edit page settings
2. Select the "Publishing options" link in the page settings, then Deselect "Published to this site"
3. Click Save
Finding Unpublished Pages
To find a page you have unpublished:
1. Navigate to the admin toolbar, click to expand Site Content and Browse > Content
2. Next, search to find your page by selecting the Published link title in the table
